Beauty fans rush to nab YSL Touche Eclat dupe from Aldi that's £27 cheaper (2025)

YSL's Touche Éclat Illuminating Pen is one of the OG beauty heroes – but let's face it, the £31 price tag isn't ideal when you're feeling the pinch.

Savvy shoppers have spotted a cheap dupe at Aldi though, in the form of the Lacura Luminous Touch Concealer which is back on the shelves and selling for around £4.

Taking to Facebook, one shopper shared a picture of her bargain buy, captioning it "Aldi dupe for YSL" and explaining that she couldn't remember the exact price – but that "it was cheap, like £4 max".

Her post was flooded with comments from other bargain hunters, who began tagging their friends and sharing some more Aldi finds.

One commented: "Love those. Had them before, will head to Aldi tomorrow to stock up" and confirmed that the pen "disguises dark eye circles."

Just like YSL's cult products, the Lacura Luminous Touch Concealer comes in pen form, with a luxe metallic design that's a dead ringer for the Touche Éclat range.

The Touche Éclat range features two products, which admittedly do tend to get mixed up, but essentially: one is a concealer (Touche Éclat High Cover Concealer) while the other is a highlighter (YSL Touche Éclat Illuminating Pen).

Aldi's dupe markets itself as a concealer, but with 'luminous touch' in the title, it seems to be a sort of hybrid of both YSL products – perfect if you want to conceal and brighten your features.

It comes at the perfect time, too, as YSL's Touche Éclat concealer is currently in very limited supply online, with nearly all shades sold out.

There's no official word on whether it's going away forever, but there's no longer a product page for it on the YSL website in the UK.

And on the US site, a reviewer writes: "I can't believe this amazing concealer is being discontinued!"

It's not the first time Aldi has sold the YSL dupe: it's been spotted in stores as far back as 2019, when beauty bloggers first began reviewing it.

It was also available in 2022 – one TikTok user filmed herself applying it and said to her followers: "Guys are we seeing this? How brightened and flawless does my under-eye area look?!"

Meanwhile, another TikTok user tried it out last month, saying: "Anytime I see make-up in Aldi, I can’t help but pick it up to try it.

"And once again, I’m not disappointed.

"This concealer created a beautiful base for foundation, but I could easily wear this as a standalone when my breakouts are not as intense."

The Lacura Luminous Touch Concealer isn't listed on the Aldi website, so we'd say your best bet is to head into a few of your local stores to see if it's still available.

And it's not the only product Aldi fans are obsessing over right now.

Another Facebook user shared a picture of two products she'd just picked up in store that are dupes for Charlotte Tilbury and Kylie Jenner lip kits.

One fellow fan replied: "I think these are fab. It lasts so long when on.

"I’m pleased they’re back."

Elsewhere in the Aldi Lacura range, the Moisture Shampoo range is a dupe for the pricier Aussie brand, while the £7.29 Caviar Illumination Day Cream is inspired by La Prairie's Skin Caviar Luxe Cream which retails for an eye-watering £910.
